POS Onboarding Guide for BigSkyEats Restaurants (Toast, SpotOn, Square, Aloha)

BigSkyEats, powered by Zuppler, integrates directly with your restaurant’s POS system so online orders print instantly in your kitchen—no extra tablets, no manual re-entry, and no missed tickets.

This guide explains how to set up each supported POS, with official Zuppler help links and clear steps.

Toast POS — Native Integration

Toast connects directly to Zuppler through a native API, making it the smoothest option.

How to connect:

1. Contact Toast Support or your Account Manager and request API credentials for Zuppler.
2. Send those credentials to angelmelendez@bigskyeats.co.
3. We’ll complete the setup.

SpotOn POS — Requires Menu Aggregator

SpotOn connects to Zuppler via Chowly or ItsaCheckmate.

How to connect:

1. Choose your aggregator:
   • Chowly → send your API Key.
   • ItsaCheckmate → send your Location ID.
2. Email your credential to angelmelendez@bigskyeats.co.
3. We’ll handle the integration with Zuppler and your aggregator.

Aloha POS — via Chowly Middleware

Aloha uses Chowly as the integration point for Zuppler.

How to connect:

1. Contact your Aloha or Chowly representative to enable the integration.
2. Get your Chowly API Key and send it to angelmelendez@bigskyeats.co.
3. We’ll complete the setup.

Square POS — Requires Menu Aggregator

Square requires Chowly or ItsaCheckmate to work with Zuppler.

How to connect:

1. Log into your Square Developer Dashboard.
2. Choose your aggregator:
   • Chowly → send your API Key.
   • ItsaCheckmate → send your Location ID.
3. Email the credential to angelmelendez@bigskyeats.co.
4. We’ll work with your aggregator to finish setup.
